Calling all Members!
An opportunity has been organised by Blesma Members, Mike Williams and Allan Long, who are looking to get Members together locally to enjoy photography. Whether you are new to photography or a keen photographer, everyone is welcome! Blesma hold their Photography Activities at locations all around the country which can mean long travel for some of those taking part. Approval to hold local events has been granted by Blesma at Chadwell Heath.

How will this work?
Firstly, a couple of volunteers from the West Country have offered to arrange this activity. The aim is to hold 4 regional events SW/SE/NW/NE in 2018 with one north of the boarder, if demand merits.
Each event will be based on a 3 day program for up to 8 Members, mainly but not exclusively from the region to be visited. Members from any location may request a place on an activity with priority given to Members from the region visited.
The aim of the event is to aid Members to gain the maximum benefit, no matter the level of their Photography skills.
Accommodation will be based around the City chosen as the centre is included in the activity, allowing the evenings for the group to meet up for editing/choosing picture of the day. It will be possible for Members who cannot complete the whole 3 day event to take part in 1 or 2 days of their choice. No accommodation would be provided in this case so local Members would be best suited for this option.
Who can attend?
All Members are welcome to attend the activity with no requirement for equipment beyond a camera, could be a DSLR or a camera phone. From basic help to professional instruction will be available during the event. The Blesma mini bus will be present to cater Members mobility needs.
When is it?
The 1st date for your diary is 05-08 February 2018.
Where is it?
It is planned to hold the first event based around Exeter taking in Bristol/Exeter Cathedral/City Photography/landscape Dartmoor.
