Day 4 – Salen and Lochbuie Stone Circle and it was celebration time for Carole King Briggs birthday!
The group visited Salen, which is on the east coast of Mull and lies at the narrowest point on the island, halfway between Craignure and Tobermory. They also went to the Lochbuie Standing Stone Circle, a small and well preserved stone circle overlooked by spectacular Ben Buie and standing within the grounds of Lochbuie House. A perfect time to visit as it is the flowering season for the wild rhododendron.
They practiced taking photos using ND filters and long exposures.
