Welcome to my Blesma gallery.
My name is Keith and I am a disabled photographer and Blesma member living overseas in northern Germany.
Despite always being keen on photography since an early age, capturing images whilst on family holidays. I had not considered taking this interest further, until 2004 when my interest in photography was reawakened during a family holiday to Brittany, with its many stunning seascapes. In time I went on to attend local college courses and photography seminars looking into many different aspects of photography, covering areas such as general digital photography, Macro photography, Studio and on location Portraiture.
Despite both my visual impairment and walking difficulties I went on to complete a professional photography diploma in 2013 and after looking into and taking part in a food photography workshop, decided to take my study work further with the intension of progressing on to teaching photography to other people with disabilities with a similar interest in photography, studying as an undergraduate with the open college of the arts I am to date working towards a (BA Hons) degree in photography.
I have no definite area of photographic interest, producing images over the past thirteen years in line with macro, portrait and landscape photography. However this said black and white photography is a particular personal area of photography I prefer.
